The animals were found living in filth. Feces covered
their bodies. In some cases, the weight of the hardened waste pieces had
caused their heavily-matted fur to tear right off of their bodies. One
of the cats was found covered with open and infected sores, a broken
tail and suffering from severe respiratory problems. The cats lived in
wire cages, and food was thrown on top the feces.

Judith Ann Lawson said she could not bring herself to ask anyone for
help. Her lawyer said the reason her cats were so uncared for was she

allowed to ever own cats again, but is allow another pet. If she
violates any of the terms of her plea agreement, Lawson could be forced
to serve an 82-day jail sentence for each of the 22 cats that were in
her care.

So the woman who abused & negelected so many pedigreed cats who was a CFA cat breeder is still very cozy with Cat Fanciers' Association Inc. [CFA].
Its plain to see CFA is overlooking her past sins with abusing & neglecting her
pedigreed cats. How is that for a working business relationship? CFA the largest
cat registry in the world & Lois Masso is still doing business together today.
How is that for CFA standing behind their mission of protecting pedigreed cats &
kittens from neglect & harm? Folks CFA is in bed with the very enemy of what CFA
stands for. What a conflict of interest or is it?Why on earth would CFA do any kind of business relationship with a their past CFA cat breeder who was banned for life from their services just so CFA has a supply of show products? Does that make sense? Of course not its not logoical nor business wise at all. Why would CFA allow themselves to be connected to the very bad cat breeder who who harmed pedigreed cats?. Denmark has never experienced a case of cats in this magnitude. The CFA bengal breeder is a member of TIBCS and very well known in the cat fancy community.----- The animal welfare organization Dyrenes Beskyttelse seized 130 cats in all and placed them at them at their shelter in Brande. All of them had diarrhea and other disease like inflammation of the eyes, respiratory illnesses etc.
It was suspected some had had their lungs damaged from
inhaling ammonia. Sadly most of them did not recover - many
because their intestines were so damaged they could not gain
weight. After a couple of months only 17 cats had survived and

Coldwater Township, Mich. —
Stench of cat urine and feces rolled out of the widows of a single-wide in the Cambridge Trailer Park Wednesday afternoon.
Forty-two cats and kittens were housed inside, where a thermometer — used by Branch County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) deputies —
read 110 degrees. Most food and water dishes were empty or contaminated with waste.
Andrea Dann, who lives across the road from the trailer, admitted she was helping boyfriend Richard Crocker, 61, breed, raise and sell
the cats for $350 or more each. Her name is on the business because Crocker, who is on probation, is not allowed to have cats after his
arrest twice before on animal cruelty charges.
Dann and Crocker’s ex-wife were listed on the Web site of KaveKats selling the Maine Coon breed. Dann told officers Crocker was
selling between one and three a week.
